How this band continues to write even better funeral doom at such a pace is a testament to their quality of work and talent. I have not heard one singular note from this band that hasn't impressed me. This album is a funeral doom gem to hold on to until the end of the year!

Japanese Funeral Doom. To me this is very different from any doom I have heard so far. Possibly even slower than most. In any case, I am loving it & loving the atmosphere created within! So very bleak & beautiful! Highly recommended!

Les morceaux monolithiques sont des petites raretés dans la discographie de No Point in Living (on se souviendra de "Endless Suffering", de "Life" ou de l'immense Last Hour of Life) et c'est bien dommage car peu sont capables de les mener aussi bien que lui. New Dawn, pendant ses vingt minutes, le prouvera une fois de plus. Il me rappelle par certains côtés le black metal de Déhà : on progresse de ténèbres à lumière, mais le désespoir ne part jamais totalement. Tout est dans l'art de la nuance.
